Join an amazing adventure. Travel through time in one of the in one of the most beautiful areas in Europe, still not spoiled by modern civilization.

Hike through the trails which for centuries served as main routes to connect the villages in this remote area in the Balkans.

Don’t be scared by the name though, the Accursed Mountains. In contrast, here you will find some of the most welcoming people.

Together with our experienced guides, you will hike through ancient trails.

However, every day will offer magnificent and dramatic views, as well as delicious food and vegetables which actually taste like vegetables.

With our set departures, you can get to know new people, fans of adventure travels. It’s like traveling to many countries at once. However, if you would like to do this as a private tour, say you are a group of friends, do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. Day1 Welcome to Albania

    Today we will be heading towards Porgradec. We will start our pedaling upon reaching the Macedonian border. We will enter Macedonia, and ride around the lake until we enter again in Albania and reach our destination, Pogradec.

  2. Day2 Heading to Korca

    This day, will not be a long ride, however, it is a very scenic one. We will paddle from Pogradec, to Korca. We will follow village small roads, free from traffic, where we can enjoy the views of the farms, and the amazing valleys. Free time in the afternoon to visit Korca.

  3. Day3 Discovering the Farm

    Today we will continue our way towards Germenj. We will be cycling 70Km. This way will take us through rolling hills, with incredible views. Upon arrival, we will spend the night bungalows in Germenj, Sotira Farm.

  4. Day4 Through the gorgeous gorges

    Today we will head towards the city of Permet. However, before we get there, we will be paddling for about 50Km, through the communist era road, and gorgeous views. We will flanked by canyons and high peaks. The city of Permet marks also our destination for the night.

  5. Day5 To the Stone City

    Today we will ride for approx. 70Km towards the UNESCO city of Gjirokaster, also known as the Stone City. We will exit the city of Permet and head towards another historic city, Tepelena. We will have a small break there, and will continue our way to our final destination, Gjirokaster. In the afternoon we will visit the Castle and the Arms Museum, as well as some free time to roam free around the city.

  6. Day6 The Riviera, at last

    Today we will head towards the Albanian Riviera, and the city of Saranda. Our ride will be approx. 70Km. Before going to the city, we will visit the Blue Eye spring and continue our way to yet another UNESCO site. This time is the ancient Butrint Archaeological Park. After a visit to the park, we will continue towards Saranda, where we will spend the night. Free afternoon to enjoy this vibrant city.

  7. Day7 Between mountains and sea

    Today our ride will be shorter, approx. 50Km, heading to the town of Himara. We will make our way through a french-rivera street like of our own. During the way, we will visit the Porto Palermo Fortres. After we will make our final stretch towards Himara.

  8. Day8 Best for last

    This is the toughest so far. We will head from Himara to the city of Vlora, a distance or approx. 65Km. We will climb the Llogara Pass, where we will find some of the most amazing views of the trip, and start our descent towards Vlora. Upon arrival, we will have free time to explore the city.

  9. Day9 Let's relax

    Today is dedicated to cultural activities. Therefor, we will head to the UNESCO city of A Thousand Windows, a.k.a. Berat. Upon arrival we will visit the citadel and the iconography & ethnographic museum. In the afternoon you will have some free time to roam around the city.

  10. Day10 Time to say goodbye

    This is our final day. We will head towards Tirana, where the arrival in the city, means also the end of our tour.

Middle level hotels

All accommodation is based in middle level hotels.

However, on day 3, we will spend the night in bungalows.

If you would like to accommodate in a single room, please, choose the option from the cart, after you booked the tour.

On our bicycles, we have flat pedals and standard but comfortable saddle. However, if you specific gears, you are welcome to use them. Please, notify us prior of the tour departure.

We do provide only bicycles, complete with pedals and saddles.

Considered the time of the year in which we do these kind of tours, the weather is perfect. However, weather might change rapidly, especially in spring or autumn, so you might need to take with you some waterproof jacket and some heavier jacket for the evenings..
